At Spot-On Farm, the moment our puppies go to their forever homes is both joyful and bittersweet. We invest so much love, time, and care into raising each puppy. When the day comes for them to leave, we want to ensure the transition is as smooth and comforting as possible. That’s why we’ve developed a thoughtful and thorough going-home process—designed to give every puppy the best possible start in their new life.

A Scent of Home

Easing the stress of separation and helping each puppy adjust to a new environment is vital. We send each puppy home with a special blanket that carries the familiar scent of our home. This comforting smell helps reduce anxiety and provides a sense of security during the first few nights away from their littermates and the world they’ve known.

Prepared for a Healthy Start

Every puppy leaves Spot-On Farm with up-to-date vet records and a clean bill of health. We carefully document all vaccinations, deworming treatments, wellness checks, and more. Each puppy’s new family will have everything they need to confidently continue their care.

Registered and Recognized

We provide official AKC (American Kennel Club) registration papers for each puppy. You can rest assured puppies are recognized as purebred, and you can fully participate in the benefits of AKC membership and events.

Puppy Essentials

Our going-home kits are packed with thoughtful items that make the transition easier for both puppy and owner. Each kit includes favorite toys to provide comfort and entertainment and a supply of the food they’ve been eating to prevent digestive upset. Additional goodies are tailored to each puppy’s needs and personality. We also offer guidance and tips to help families navigate the early stages of puppyhood with confidence and joy.

A Lasting Bond

When a puppy leaves Spot-On Farm, they don’t just gain a new home; they become part of the extended Spot-On Farm family. We cherish staying in touch with our puppy families and love seeing updates as these “fur babies” grow.
