English Bulldogs are sweet, loving and LAZY. They are also known to be friendly, calm but yet courageous. They will sleep for many hours on end. English Bulldogs life expectancy is 8-10 years. They make great family pets who are loving and patient with children, in the correct environment. They are known to be protective and loyal. They aren’t excessive barkers, but they will alert you to any potential intruders. As most bully breeds, English are no different when it comes to stubbornness. They can be stubborn, especially if they decide they don’t want to do something. Patience and persistent training are necessary. Regular veterinary care is crucial. Snorting, snuffling, and flatulence (gassiness) go with the territory of short-faced breeds.
